We always are connected to the web but i never thought about it using us. I use it for everything in my life from research to keeping relationships with friends and family. Its kind of scary how the "machine" can keep a history on my likes, and "find a pattern in my life by how many times i visit certain information or sites".
The web has helped me a lot though too, if i didnt understand an assignment all's you have to do is Google it and some how 98% of the time you'll get the help your looking for.
Just typing in the three letter word AIM i can instantly talk to my family who live more than 3 states away. Facebook, helps me stay in contact as well. Email, I can send information back and forth to teachers, or family.
The web is a great thing.

The web helps me everyday as a learner. Google is pretty much a life saver at times. Don't know what something is, oh just look it up on Google. The web is helpful with staying connected to friends and family. Also research, school projects used to be hours in the library looking through encyclopedias and other books, but now most people just go to Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc...and find the information they need. Books although still helpful at times have been put on the back burner.
The new web is diffrent from the way it use to be because we create it. They use to use HTML formating now they use XTL this is alot easier for the millions of people on earth to play with, without knowing all the special codes. As a learner im helped by the web everyday. Not only can i look information up i can also recieve help from teachers via email and read other peoples thoughts which in reality will go into my memory bank of information. I use google alot to learn and also informational sites based on what im doing at that point and time. To stay connected i use email , aim and facebook. The internet is a wonderful thing.
after watching that video i thought it was very different, after the video i even had to think to myself and say what did i really just watch and i don't no what to say about it

The web is a place that is never ending and is a great tool, but it can also be a bad one. All you have to do is type a single word and it can lead to endless possibilities. the web can also be a bad tool, because when you post something everyone cam see it. If you are not careful you can also give away very important information to total strangers and that could ruin you life.
The new web has a magnitude of things assessable just by pressing a button, like the video said we all use the web. Its the information highway why check out an encyclopedia or something when u can get the info you wanted in a matter of seconds? It even allows you to talk to communicate faster and in someways better. I use it by googling things I wanna know more about,like the other day I was watching a show and they start questioning whether black lions where real and I wanted to know if lions could be black so I Googled there isn't a recorded document of one but I learn that it in the realm of possibility. I also use the web to communicate with my friends and family that don't live near me or haven't seen in a while
HTML was originally used for formatting websites and now XML is used which is better. Code is no longer needed. XML makes things a lot easier.

The new web is different because it changes and grows each day, by what we put onto it, what we click, and what we do.
This is Garland. I'm surprise that how the internet rapidly get better and better every second. The XML make it so that a 5 year old will not have trouble use the internet. Wow, it make me wonder what the next thing that we invented to put the XML to shame.
It is way easier using the web. it can give u a lot of information that is very useful and how it will show you how it can be used. You can learn very interesting stuff. It cool how just simple abbreviation can put a whole lot in it and make it easier to learn.

I use the internet everyday. When I need to do my homework or a project and I get to a question or need information I don't know I use google. The internet is pretty much my life. It's how I stay connected with my friends, get help on assignments and keep up with news. I also use the internet to play games but besides that it's very helpful when we need help with something or are just curious and want to find something out. (It also saves some trees by less books.)
The internet source helps me everyday to connect with those who i cannot reach on a daily bases. Also the internet helps me to learn about everyday life tools that i need. If i need a answer for something i will search on the web. The web has helped me as a learner how to use email to contact those in other countries like my sister who was in afghnistan or my other sister who did her residency in England. If it was not for the web i would worry everyday waiting for a piece of mail that was manual and would take several days or weeks. Now using the internet i can simply write a letter on the web and add a address and send to those i love around the world in a quick 30 seconds.
Vince, after watching the video i realized how much i depend on the computer everyday. I use it to find research on projects and also for personal use for talking to friends and a lot of other things. without the internet i wouldn't be able to get things done that i need to in everyday life.
Every day, every second, the web is getting more complicated but at the same time, easy to use. The internet is what people create it to be. its a way for people to keep in touch, learn, buy, sell, play, teach, and so on. the internet is the future of the world. sooner or later everything will be integrated with computers. some people say that computers are ruining kids mind with games and movies and such but on the computer i can get something done in half the time of something on paper which frees up more time for the enjoyable things in life. so when people look at the glass half empty and say tv, internet, phones, computers, etc. are tearing us apart, i think their wrong. they need to look at the glass half full. or even more then that. tv, phones computers, the internet bring more people together then anything else could. the internet is the future whether some of us like it or not

After watching the video it opened my eyes with how the web changes everyday and gets better. Thie video shows how the web used codes and now it doesnt need codes for it to work.
